Turbeaux comes for a ride three mornings a week when I bring Sister back to the convent before 6am. I decided to drive to the lake this morning instead of going straight home since it was almost sunrise. Turbeaux walked a bit, then I pulled out my point and shoot and tried to capture some of the dawn sky.
No tripod, so they are a bit soft, but I really love the colors at sunrise. I could not get Turbeaux to stay still for a long shutter, so his were all a blurry mess :=(
This is Lakeshore Drive, near the site of the old lighthouse that died in Katrina.
