had to stop for a while :(

hiatus for the rest of 2010, will start anew in 2011, in earnest this time. Life got in the way and I did not want to just shoot for the sake of posting one a day. I have a collection that i will post at a later date, just kept uploading to the hard drive, but not posting them.

I want this to be an exercise in improvement and perhaps branching out of my comfort zone, so it is better to wait until January.

started the day at dawn

Turbeaux comes for a ride three mornings a week when I bring Sister back to the convent before 6am. I decided to drive to the lake this morning instead of going straight home since it was almost sunrise. Turbeaux walked a bit, then I pulled out my point and shoot and tried to capture some of the dawn sky.

No tripod, so they are a bit soft, but I really love the colors at sunrise. I could not get Turbeaux to stay still for a long shutter, so his were all a blurry mess :=(

late evening entry

Well, the Saints won the season opener, and today was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Shot this in the evening as the light was wonderful. this is day 6 of 365

it's a point and shoot kind of day

It is storming outside, my little coolpix point and shoot arrived today, so I decided to be satisfied with a few that I took while waiting for the software to install.

Turbeaux tried to nap and I kept waking him up with the flashy thing.

Saints are playing tonight, so this was perfect. More time to just relax and watch the game. Just wish it would stop raining, though.

I have been working on some Fleur de Lis pins and pendants this afternoon, after all, the Saints opener in the Dome is tomorrow. These will be easy to market, especially if they have another winning season.
